While we are discussing the benefits of Tropical Backyard Landscape? | Backyard Landscape Pro, If you are thinking of spending lots of time on the patio furniture, you will want something that looks good, matches your décor and is comfortable to sit in for hours. You should research exactly what you want, whether that is wrought iron or wood teak patio furniture, as your goal is ultimate relaxation and comfort.

I have tropical plants around my pool area and love the look.
Yucca plants are so easy to grow and look great.
Umbrella plant also looks tropical and is very easy to grow.
I also have: both red and yellow cannas, bird of paradise, and saga palms.
Oh yes, Hibiscus. I have 4 different colors of those.
